Of course, dreams only come to fruition after a lot of hard work and effort, and creating the music for this CD is certainly no exception. We are pleased to present many up-tempo songs, a comedy song and our first duet. The song “Come Back America”, written on the 10th anniversary of 9/11, was featured on the WFUV public radio program “Woody’s Children” (3/23/14). Several other songs were written for a musical about the love between two young people on the autism spectrum. Our songs deal with such diverse themes as love, loss, coping with substance abuse, song writing, the search for happiness and the dreams we pursue. Many times the inspiration for these songs is not fully realized until we have begun to diligently work on them and it is only then that the “music flows again”. We hope that you find the songs on Dream Maker evocative, thought provoking and thoroughly enjoyable. We wish to thank Ken Lampl for his encouragement and guidance.
