I really like the pretty speedy thrash album that is Aftershock. Of course, this should not be a surprise as I enjoyed Serbian thrash band Space Eater\\\'s more speed metal oriented debut Merciful Angel. Aftershock is a much better album and not only is better sounding from a musicianship standpoint, but the songwriting is much better, too. All the songs are good and scattered throughout Aftershock are some very memorable riffs and moments I love. Vocals are now handled by Luka \\\"Tower\\\" Matković and he is excellent, but is not quite as animated as former vocalist Boško Radišić. Boško, whose voice on the debut album probably annoyed some, tragically passed away in 2009 in a fire at age 29. This is according to the band\\\'s page on the metal-archives. The band has certainly been able to persevere this tragedy very well. I thoroughly enjoyed Aftershock and urge fans of speedy thrash to check out the album.
