Gender is a psychedelic drug in singer Bebe Huxley’s new single and surreal video Darkside. Written and produced by Bebe Huxley and Vancouver based live-electronics producer Vincent Parker, Darkside is throbbing, dark, electronic pop that unites femininity and masculinity in ecstasy. With haunting lyrics and rich, otherworldly vocals akin to Kate Bush, Huxley discovers her queer duality in a Noir-Hallucinatory void, amongst 3-D animations that look like Georgia O’Keeffe on acid.

Darkside is the first of four psycho-sexual videos for Bebe's debut EP Scorpio coming out in 2017. Bebe is currently based in Los Angeles and a member of The Slather Factory queer art collective, recently seen opening for Mykki Blanco at The Roxy Theatre. Bebe was raised in the underground drag clubs of San Francisco following her graduation from UC Berkeley with degrees in Theater and homegrown hallucinogens.
