Anima is the first single of Nicola Poretti. It is a pop ballad dedicated to "Naima", the daughter of the artist. Nicola Poretti is also the male vocalist in the song, together with Valentina Londino and her choir "Carillon". Music arrangement are made by Roberto Colombo and Riccardo Di Filippo in the HRS Studios. The artwork of the cover is made by "Officina 103" (Chantal Ambrosini, Sheila Stanga).

Half of the proceeds from the sale of the single will be donated to the swiss association for Anemia Fanconi (ASAF) who helps to support research for this disease.
