Tony G is a classically trained keyboard player and graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Music. While studying under the direction of Dr. Glen Kruspe (founder of the Kitchener Waterloo Symphony Orchestra) and at the rebellious age of 16, Tony G gave up on classical training and hit the road. Performing on a Gibson G101, driving a 147 Leslie Speaker Cabinet, Tony G toured much of Ontario in a rock band called "Stone". Honing his skills and improving his chops, his musical journey over the decades has seen him perform as a solo artist, band member and ensemble player. A music career with performances in Classic Rock, Contemporary Jazz, R&B Funk and later Big Band Jazz, Tony G continues to write original compositions with influences from such artists as Pat Matheny, Chick Corea and Jean-Luc Ponty. Influenced by popular culture, pop artists and the music scene at large, Tony G continues to write original instrumental compositions, drawing heavily on personal experiences. Simply born from within and performed from the soul, Tony G is proud to announce the release of the third and final CD from the PianoKeys trilogy. PianoKeys III is a departure from previous CD's with a fresh new sound and direction. Written during 2008 and 2009 all final mixes were eventually mastered by the world renowned Abbey Road Studios (London) in January 2010. All compositions were written, produced and performed by Tony G .
