It's time to inject a bit of soul into your day with Flone's new EP over on Liquid Brilliants. There's a lot of gloom in the world, so why not make it slightly less depressing and that little bit more amenable, right? Well, 'Little Creature In The Night' does just that with its charming array of synth lines and accompanying bass currents. It's melancholy, relaxed and slightly drunk all at the same time. 'Dreams' keeps up the cinematic feel with the sound of crashing waves and bubbling brooks which slowly recede into the background as another gorgeous melody comes into the fray, backed up by echoing percussion and a real sense of organic vibrancy. This reminds us of Fractale or Frederic Robinson - proper nice stuff.
