자연스러운 일상 속에 함께 할 얼터너티브 팝, [I'll see you when I see you] LambC(램씨)는 2015년 싱글 [The Herd]로 데뷔하며 국내 음악씬에 첫 발걸음을 내디뎠다. 그는 본인의 음악적 역량을 키우기 위해 끊임없이 노력하고 모든 트랙을 혼자만의 힘으로 프로듀싱하며 결과물로 실력을 증명해왔다. 특히 ‘Love Like That’, 'BEAUTY’, ‘Childish’, 'I was wrong’ 등의 곡으로 해외에서 먼저 의미 있는 반응을 일으켰고 lo-fi, Chill 음악 리스너 사이에서 빠지지 않고 거론되는 아티스트로 자리매김했다. CJ문화재단 ‘튠업’의 제작 지원으로 만들어진 앨범 [I'll see you when I see you]는 LambC(램씨)가 대중에게 처음으로 선보이는 정규 앨범이다. 지금까지 싱글과 시리즈 EP를 통해서 대중에게 음악을 선보이던 그는 이번 정규 앨범을 통해 전작에서는 보여준 적 없던 새로운 음악을 선보인다. 본 앨범은 LambC(램씨)와 같이 버클리 출신의 실력파 프로듀서 sh가 공동 작업자로 참여, R&B/Soul, Pop 장르에 국한되는 것이 아닌 Rock을 비롯한 다양한 음악적 요소를 가미했으며 신선하면서도 완성도 높은 사운드를 담아냈다. 특정한 장르에 국한되지 않고 끊임없이 새로운 것을 탐구하며 조금은 실험적인 선상에 있는 이 앨범은 새로운 도전과 훗날을 위한 큰 도약이다. 하지만 결코 LambC(램씨)가 가지고 있는 색깔과 중심이 흔들리는 음반은 아니다. 미니멀리즘을 강조한 악기 구성과, 세련된 팝 스타일, 정돈된 연주법은 음악에 불필요한 부담을 덜었고 1번 트랙부터 마지막 12번 트랙까지 균등하게 유지되는 음악의 질감과 절제된 편곡은 LambC(램씨)가 추구하는 팝사운드의 결정체를 잘 나타내고 있다. 01.
