The album was recorded live in the studio over 2 days in August 2014 at Allan Eaton studio in St Kilda by Robin Grey. “That Fate” has included 8 of Justines originals and 2 classics “Sunny” originally performed by Dusty Springfield in the 60s & “Just friends” made famous by Frank Sinatra The Justine Jones Hammond Combo is Australias very own first female fronted band of its kind.(As well as playing Saxophone/ Vocals, Justine writes original material for the band in all genres from Swing ,Blues, Funk,Rock, to Latin & Bossa nova inspired music). The trio have performed for The Unesco International jazz day at the Mechanics Institute, Ballarat, RipponLea,The Castlemaine Festival, The Swiss Club and Sundays at The Prahran Market. Justine Jones,Tenor Saxophone has played with anyone who is anyone, in Australia, and internationally. She recently recorded with Max Merritt in LA, composes for Studio 51 (USA) and has 5 albums on ITunes of her own music in many genres. Now, She joins Liam Kealy who has honed his Hammond playing with "The Mondlarks" over the past 9 years with Rohan Heddle on Drums. Rohan is best known for his work with Australian band "Cordrazine" from the late 90s, who had many hits and toured the world.
