DaGeneral as a DJ / producer is becoming a familiar name with his incessant flow of releases on labels such as General Surgery, Yin Yang Records' which have been in the beatport charts consistently every week for the last 3 months as well as with Pro B Tech. His recording collaborations with Moggi are also receiving keen interest with demand ramping up, as they rise up through the clubbing fraternity. The duos previous work has already struck a chord and been supported by the likes of Jam El Mar, Marco Carola 'Richie Hawtin' 'Lisa Lashes' and Skober whilst enjoying the number 1, 2 and 3 spots on various charts with so much more to come guaranteed. Moggi's' own personal attributes and accolades are also very respectable from his former band days playing to large audiences of 13000 with Dublin based The Generation of Dance, and also co founding electronic music mag Zone Magazine in Ireland. Moggi has also remixed for the likes of dance legend 'Jon The Dentist' and enjoyed a chart high position of No.13 (held for 3 months) with his seminal track 'Hypnotic Intelligence' in the US DDK Dance charts and is a very active figure alongside producer/ Engineer Spooky at A1 Audiio studio Dublin. Like most artists when they collaborate it sparks creative chemistry and an intriguing output that becomes unique in its own right whilst diversifying from the individuals sound. This is very much the case with the title track Drive Me Crazy with its banging 90s esque sounding scope to the production with a current twist thats energizing whilst taking you through a driving bass fuelled journey punctuated by the seductive vocals as they rise and peak through the pounding mix which makes it very hard to pigeonhole. On remixes duties we have Ian Dillon who is also familiar to Pro B Tech and to most as he continues his high output of unique progressively worked tracks. Ians mix is quite an hypnotic groove workout with touches of the vocal from the original and his trade mark transient rises and sweeps. It got a great emotive feel to the mix whilst maintaining percussive groove. Also gracing this Pro B Tech release with his undisputed skills Blue Amazon who returns with an alternating sound within the scopes of house music with varying influences across the spectrum from hard to deep to transient and more. These mixes are more in the zone of minimal driving grooves with touches of techno stabbing its way through. Theres an element of the Blue Amazon filter pads as well as vocal FX. Two mixes are provided including full vocals & dub for those who feel less is more. Finally we have the bonus track titled Almost There - featuring the vocals from Lisa Williams whose last release 'Junk' was sitting pretty in the American billboard Charts.
