DAYGLO RED describes his style as AMERICAN REGGAE. He explains, "I was living in Nashville , experimenting with Reggae grooves. A London based record company became interested in my recordings, so I produced some of my original compositions.The record company liked what I did, but felt like I should try to sound like a Jamaican. NO WAY ! , was my response. I am an American, will always sound like one, and will always write about American topics. My reggae is American all the way". This was the beginning of AMERICAN REGGAE. Dealing with mainly positive themes, DAYGLO RED'S music will keep your feet tapping, and have you singing along to his infectious lyrical hooks. GREAT PARTY MUSIC !!!
