简介
More than an artist, Kane comes from a family of musicians and he is making major moves towards success. Whether its in the studio providing music or to organizing programs helping and catering to our young generation, who doesn't get the everyday chance like the rest of us are blessed with. Those are just a couple power moves that this CEO is making and it's just the beginning! From the heart of Corpus Christi, Chula Vista is the neighborhood that Kane has grown up in and where he experienced a diversity of obstacles to hold him down; still, he decides to embrace the negativity and dish out nothing but positive changes in the same community!!!! Kane started his record label SharkTown Records at the age of 14. He started out writing poetry then merged into full raps over the phone in 1996. "One time my homeboy called on three-way and told me to rap to this girl on the line, she said that she was really into it." says Kane. After some time passed he really got into the gangster rap by listening to Master P and TRU, "from rapping to girls, I started rapping about our lifestyles in the street". SharkTown Records made an appearance on ABC that broadcast a local affiliated station called K-III TV 3 News. They interviewed me because we were helping the S.O.S drive and giving out free haircuts for all the kids. Some children couldnt afford a fresh haircut on the first day of school, so we wanted to make a difference. With our programs, we are trying to give back by helping the children that are less fortunate. SharkTown Records proudly has 2 programs and the first one is named, "Kids Keeping It Real Foundation" for kids coming from situations they cannot control, for instance family abuse and poverty. The second program is named, " F.A.D.D org" which stands for Fight Against Drunk Driving Organization. We also came out on the Johnny Canales Show, he envited us to the First Annual Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Parade with political leader Joe Ortiz.
