Christiana is a fiddler and emerging singer/songwriter. Growing up in the Willamette Valley, Christiana was active in city music programs including the Oregon Children's Choir and the Salem Youth Symphony. At a young age, she began performing at the Mt. Angel Oktoberfest in Mt. Angel, Oregon with her family band, Z Musikmakers. From 1995-2010 Z Musikmakers released a series of albums featuring German folk music and Christmas favorites. Christiana became best known for her extended medley of The Orange Blossom Special. Later Christiana worked with singer/songwriter Matthew Price and released an Americana folk album, Gallon House. In her voice you'll hear hints of jazz reminiscent of her time in the Willamette Singers vocal jazz ensemble at Willamette University. Currently, Christiana lives in Madison, New Jersey where she is writing and producing her first solo album to be released in October 2017. She has an affinity for a well-crafted cup of coffee as does her wonderful husband, Scott Ostlund.
