"When you think of FEWCHA, you think dynamic, focused and skillful," says members Famous, Doe Boi and Denaus, explaining their commitment to the love of music. The trio has an unshakeable bond . . . BROTHERHOOD . . . A close knit connection that came from moving around in their childhood and being reliant on each other for reassurance. When they come to mind, going against the grain of the stereotypes of hip- hop artist...they created other avenues to obtain the finer things in life. These SELF MADE MEN. . Are all young entrepreneurs and businessmen pushing’ jags, Chevy’s with switches, and building and owning homes worthy of MTV Cribs status. They cut out all of the assumptions of what they are and what they do. Putting their grind on from nothing to something. . . FEWCHA signifies unwillingness to conform to fads. Once the fads die out, you always come back to the basics of being real and true to yourself. FEWCHA’s dedication to the love of hip-hop is creating a new epoch to go against the norm. Not just rappin’ about Trappin, rolling on rims or jewelry. “Music is supposed to be heartfelt and have meaning. “People want to hear something a little more than just poppin’ bottles. They want real music from us,” Denaus says. “This project will portray the initial essence of what FEWCHA really has to bring to the industry—lively songs with vibrant beats and skillful uncompromising flows.” Feel-good party songs often make people dance and have a good time. But music means much more when there’s another dimension. As SELF MADE MEN of the Modern Era, FEWCHA ‘s versatility, witty lyrics and Grade-A production will launch them instantly to the top of the charts. Sure, they will make classic party cuts, but a closer look at their work reveals an unrivaled greatness that will earn legions of fans from the East Coast to the West Coast to their native region, the South. “Everybody is forgetting about what hip-hop has always really been about—and that’s teaching people new things and new ways of living,” Doe Boi declares. “We want to touch on the struggles that people endure in life. Give them real talk for real people. We want people to know that they have other options in life. It’s about giving back and making a lasting impact so that generations will feel that hard work that you put out while you were on earth. It’s not about how much I make it rain, but about security for the long haul.” “Most artists are here to get the money, and not stand for anything, and not be a role model to nobody,” says Famous. “I really can’t live my life like that. Our music is empowering to streets. People get caught up in thinking there is only one way to do things, but there isn’t one way. You must be open-minded about all situations. My focus is to give back to the streets reach out to those who feel that they have to make bad choices and show them that they have options. Its all about creating a love for oneself; once you have that you have everything.” The album’s lead single “Its About Time”—which—is a club banger-it’s about getting your money and life right. Being facetious with women and showing how you get down. This single exemplifies how FEWCHA will step on the scene and everyone recognizes who they are and what they symbolize. From the club to the crib, Its about Time will signify the group’s task of shaking asses, stirring souls, and sparking minds.
