The Bell: A collaboration of musicians - Conductor Alexander S. (founder, producer, lyricist, songwriter, guitarist), Miguel Voltz (keyboards, synth, sound system), Ryan Wood Madera (Drums and Back-up vocals) and Zack Meet Douglas (lyricist). The sound is the result of The bell, experience with mainstream Alternative, love for Electronica Punk/Rock, Reggae/Ska Sound System and Fusion, generating a uniquely fresh style and feel. In late September of 2011, The Bell began posting their debut EP, with a single called "Alone" early 2012 and received immediate attention from bloggers and social networks. • "Alone" is intense, confident and satisfying. It blends electronica beats and synths with radio friendly lyrics to create a refreshing and unique record.” • “This band is fresh and fun and feels no need to apologize for it.” The band will begin securing dates to support its EP and online releases while continuing to write and record a full length record for early 2013. The idea of the bell is to remind people to be mindful. To get back to their senses, a Bell that will be heard by all of us, whenever we get off track and lose touch with the real world that’s right in front of us. Whenever we lose hope because of our drowning in the imaginary void of our sorrows, anxieties, angers and insecurities. Whenever we forget that we are all essentially the same. Whenever we forget why we are here, and that this is our only shot at this strange and wonderful ride called life.
