简介
Punk rock is their business and business is good. Allout Helter has returned with their heaviest and darkest material to date with 'Ruins,' a six song EP that, to put it bluntly, details the end of the world. No, it’s not an unearthed prediction from Nostradamus but a series of vignettes told from various perspectives that piece together a tale of worldwide destruction and the apocalyptic dystopia that follows which, given the current state of affairs, could become our all too frightening future. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Chris Fogal (The Gamits, Dwayne, Denver hero) at Black in Bluhm Music and featuring artwork from Doom Toof, 'Ruins' is full of vivid imagery and brooding, thrashy riffage that furthers the bands’ reputation for pushing the boundaries of technical, melodic hardcore. Along with this seminal release, Allout Helter is always busy dominating whatever stage they’re on, one audience member at a time, with their intense and engaging live show. With nods from the Westword as one of Denver’s top punk acts, shows within the burgeoning Denver punk scene and alongside lauded and soon-to-be legendary touring acts from all over the country, and slots on festivals like Riot Fest Denver, The Underground Music Showcase, Way Out West Fest and the Summergrind Music Festival, Allout Helter continually prove why they are one of the most sought after bands in Denver. 'Ruins' is the follow up to Allout Helter's 2013 full length 'Sinking, We Regress.'
