简介
A-OnE & B.O. come together to form one of the hottest new talents in the south. The Clarksdale, Mississippi natives recently released their first album, Tha Mind & tha Muscle, after working on a few underground projects with their original group, Mid-South Playaz(MSP). On this album, A-OnE & B.O. talk about the lifestyles of those in the Mississippi Delta and their constant struggles on the way to stardom where they are destined to be. A-OnE was born Alvin Keys on August 4, 1982 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. After witnessing the double murder of his mother and grandmother at age 11, A-OnE was on his own, moving around often to live with different family members and struggles forced him to using minor hustles just to maintain. It wasn't long before A-OnE met Play D, his producer and co-founder of MSP, who turned him on to spitting rhymes. After doing mixtapes with MSP and seeing little progression, A-OnE relocated to Milwaukee with his older sister to try to make things happen. Residing on 2nd and Locust, one of the cities most dangerous areas, A-OnE was still in the same perdicaments as he was back home in Clarksdale. Therefore, he continued to move around back and forth from Milwaukee to Chicago and back, and later from the Mil to Indianapolis and back. The Square, a southwestern Chicago housing projects is where he picked up the name A-OnE, given by other residents who saw A-OnE hustling throughout the day and night and figured that he was a product of his environment. He left Indianapolis after his brother caught possession charges for coc*ine and to be with his daughter, Anaiya. Back in Milwaukee, A-OnE began to pursue a rap career and started on a solo mixtape which was never released in order to work on "Tha Mind & tha Muscle", in which Play D called upon him to record. After leaking tracks like "59Fifty" and "I C U Lookin", A-OnE, along with B.O., began to create a buzz on the streets of Milwaukee and throughout Mississippi. B.O. was born Chris Liddell on July 10, 1982. Like many of his peers, he tried football as an alternative to the streets of Clarksdale, one of Mississippi's more crime-rated areas. Choosing another route than what his mother had planned pushed B.O. closer to his father. But after losing his sister and his father in less than two years, B.O. had few close family and friends other than MSP. Things couldn't get any worse when B.O. lost his child at birth a couple years following. Probably being a hustler since day one, B.O., like A-OnE, grinded hard and worked cover-up jobs to maintain while moving around in and out of state to places like St. Louis, Tuscaloosa, and to Port Gipson, MS where he began to work on an album with the Vegas Boyz (a group who he grew up with back home). Hits like "Mississipi Anthem", "Lil Krunk Ni**a" and "Money & Cappin" highlighted the album and gained local attention. After B.O. bounced around a few times to make money, Play D called upon him to record "Tha Mind & tha Muscle" with A-OnE. Together, A-OnE and B.O. create an undeniable tandem that continues to grow. With a promising career ahead, they are the hottest and newest thing coming out of Mississippi. The unique flows steadily create reactions from listeners that is obviously saying that their future is history in the making.
