Avanti (Italian) [uh-vuhn-tee] adverb: forward, ahead, onwards, in front noun: a new album from Pensive & LoKi that reflects their home in VT, a creative center that is both foreign and domestic. Shifting from introspective to interstellar, the lyrics and rhythms chart the growth of two MC’s, their ambitions and struggles, and the forces that inspire them to keep creating. Pensive is a thought provoking, beat destroying artist based out of Rochester NY/Ferrisburgh VT. His co-founder of milkhaus studios, LoKi, is a being of the 802 that explores the interdependence of opposites. Other contributing artists include Sunsoul, a human smile from right outside West Philidelphia, Ol' Crow, who also flies high as the producer ET, Rajnii and SK1 of Bless the Child and SAI, the voice and eye from Kuwait.
