This journey is not about me. I want that to reverberate in my mind when it comes to spreading the message of Jesus Christ through my gift of song. I can't count the many times that God has released and protected me from snares that weren't meant for my good. I can't count the number of times that God said no and I said yes, did it, and he didn't treat me as my sins deserved. Named E. for my first initial, MaJor because of my purpose to go and make disciples, and J being capitalized and in red to represent Jesus's bodily sacrifice being at the center of that purpose. Singing isn't just something that I do well, it's my passion. It's the one place where I experience freedom from problems, restrictions, and fears. It's all I really think about! My goal is not to be big. In due season, the colossal God on the inside of me will allow my gift to make room for me and do that. My goal is to have fun sharing what God has blessed me to wield and experience. The older I become, the more I wish to think about myself less, so that I might truly be self-less.

MaJor Beginning: A man of humble beginnings named Eric Levels from the small town of Teague, TX is embarking on a journey to praise the Lord with the gift that he has been given in voice. God birthed in him the awareness to walk in his talent as a vocalist and the obedience to accept his calling into the preaching ministry. Eric will be the first to tell you that all Glory and Praise belongs to the Father and not to him. Eric is literally a walking testimony of how God can use anyone who is willing and not ashamed to step out on faith regardless of a person’s physical or spiritual shape. He is here to declare “Major News” that Jesus Christ is alive and available to come to your rescue.
