CelloCosmos is a collaboration between two of New Mexico's leading experimental and contemporary artists, Michael Kott and Dwight Loop. These long time collaborators originally worked on many electronic music projects in the late 90s in New York with various ambient and experimental promoters and presenters. This led to their recording and further collaborations in Santa Fe, NM in 2009-20011 where they performed shows as CelloCosmos, with Dwight Loop's Dream Jungle project and other ensembles with singer Madi Sato and other Santa Fe musicians in special event concerts and benefits.

Michael Kott is one of the world's leading electric cellists whose amazing improvisational abilities and unique sound have been utilized in solo projects as well as with such notables as Robert Mirabel, Desert Dwellers, Amani Friend, Peter Buffett, Dream Jungle, and many, many others. Dwight Loop has a lifetime of electronic music solo concerts including the "Hunab Ku" Trilogy realized and performed since 1996 in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Santa Fe. His trance-electronic-shamanic group Dream Jungle has performed throughout the U.S. featuring chantress Taressa Bell and friends. Loop also hosted "Earwaves" a 20-year new and electronic music public radio show in New Mexico and New York from 1997-2007.
