This song was written in response to a comedic song by a mate about the trials and tribulations of my life as a single woman in her 30s. It was written in less than an hour (which is extremely quickly for me, as most of my songs grow over the course of weeks or months). I didn't really consider what it was about while writing it, so post hoc explanations are tricky. I suppose it's about how hard it can be to find love when you feel like a complete weirdo most of the time."
