台湾的福佬系（来自闽南地区的汉族）音乐，可以分为歌乐与器乐两大类，前者包括：民歌、说唱与戏剧，后者包括：锣鼓、鼓吹、什音等独奏或合奏音乐。而陈冠华正是精通于所有福佬系音乐，他精于样样乐器，样样歌调。

The Fu-lao Music in Taiwan

The Fu-lao (Taiwan-Fukienese) music in Taiwan comprises the vocal music and the instruments music. The former includes folk songs, local operas, and shuo-ch'ang(minstrelsy). The latter includes solos and ensambles of various instruments, such as shao-na (a woodwind instrument), strings, gongs & drums, and others. Ch'en Kuan-hua is thoroughly versed in every aspects of Fu-lao Folk music: he plays all the instruments, and he sings all the tunes.
