"Emazulwini" is a song inspired by personal true-life events the 23-year old Afro-Soul singer-songwriter Aphila endured. As she embarks on the journey of pursuing music as a career with the release of her first single, Aphila wrote this song to her late mom whom she sadly saw take her last breath after reassuring her that everything will be fine.

In the song Aphila is asking the heavens to open up and allow her a few minutes to talk to her mom and let her in on how life has been without her. She echoes the words of encouragement her mom shared with her before her passing, letting her know that she believes success is near.
