He made various studio albums, performed on famous festivals in and out of the Netherlands, got raving reviews and earned famous prizes. He wrote music for Dutch theatre groups, hence his songs may have a film music kind of feeling. His latest and most intimate album, This Mangy Soul, came about because of a bizarre recurring dream he had. The album recounts the fictive story of how his father comes back to life after a morbid medical procedure. Dyzack lost his father at young age to suicide. The ten album songs are infused with the dilemmas of life and loss, but all have a different sound. Some of them bluesy, some melancholic, some witty.
