This album was written after the hardest season, thus far, of my life. I was coming out of a season of grieving a loss, became pregnant, and then watched too many friends and family members lose their children or struggle to have children. I began to question everything I thought I knew about God. After reaching the lowest point of my life and faith I used these songs as my desperate cry for help. They began to open my eyes to the truth of who God is and my life has not been the same since. I have a joy and a strength that cannot be taken from me because I remember the truth of who He is. No matter what happens in life, I know that He is good and He loves me. I hope you find these same things regardless of whether it's through these songs or something else.
