On an old wooden sailboat under the dark, starry sky I heard my first banjo plunking and knew it was the instrument for me. From the moment we met my head swam with bits poetry, stories and melodies, and I began weaving them together into the songs of this EP. This album is dedicated to my singing coach Elana Joan Cara, who passed on after its completion in Santa Fe, NM August 2014.
