The writing process for the Revision EP began back in March 2014, although most of the songs written back then have been either cut from the EP or have been completely reworked. Tabrill has collaborated with many artist and producers and has learnt a lot. The majority of the EP was written and recorded during the early hours of the morning, which probably wasn’t the best idea (trying to records vocal takes at three in the morning is not as fun as it sounds). Throughout the EP you can hear Tabrill draw inspiration from artists such as Porter Robinson, Mr. Carmack, Jack Garratt, and Flume just to name a few. The Revision EP represents Tabrill's growth as a producer. It’s Tabrill going back and looking what he likes and doesn’t like about his previous works and trying to build upon what he has already accomplished, trying to push himself further.
