God's Gurls aka G.G. is a self contained, female band of saved, educated women who play and sing. G.G. is unique because it consists of 6 females who have decided to use their singing and musicianship to glorify Christ. All singing and instrumentation is done within this all female band! G.G. was birthed by Pastor Alfred T. Lands. He envisioned a group of young women with willing and submissive spirits to give glory to God through their gifts. Their genre infuses a mixture of contemporary gospel, jazz, christian, R&B and traditional gospel. G.G. has already had the awesome opportunity to open and share the same stage with artists such as Earnest Pugh, Vashawn Mitchell, Chantae Cann, Dottie Peoples & more. They were recently blessed with the awesome opportunity to sing at the Four Pillar Awards Tribute to Arthur M. Blank (ATL Falcons owner). However, in spite of being busy with music, G.G. still finds time to hit the books. These young ladies are current students and graduates from schools such as Spelman College and Georgia State University (just to name a few) with aspirations to go into psychology, math, speech therapy, entrepreneurship, criminal justice and teaching. This album highlights GG along with other great artists who are apart of the TruFaith Music Label such as Shon Brooks Kidd, Darien Brooks and Brandon "B-Lat" Latimore.
