简介
David Bradshaw is a Newfoundland born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Nova Scotia, Canada. David’s first CD, “No Place” was nominated for the Music Nova Scotia Best Folk Recording of the Year in 2009. He has performed several times on the ECMA stage, and plays solo and with his band at venues around Nova Scotia and the Atlantic provinces. David also performs with the folk trio, Grassmarket, and has backed talented artists such as Kim Wempe and Carmel Mikol. David’s second CD, “Songs from the Former County”, was released in July 2014. David’s latest offering features all original tunes, a mix of traditional folk and full band sounds, and special guests including Carmel Mikol, Dan MacCormack, Wanda Rose Milne, Grant Mitchell, and Willie Stratton. “Songs from the Former County” is inspired by community, and in truth would not have been possible without the extraordinary support of our extended community – both local and around the world. David owes a debt of thanks to Kickstarter supporters, sponsors, and grassroots fundraisers who became the true heart of the Former County, without whom the music simply would not happen. He also acknowledges the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum (Cole Harbour, NS), and the Railway Society of Newfoundland Museum (Corner Brook, NL) for providing inspiration for the CD. David is available for live performance or studio work. “No Place” and "Songs from the Former County" is available through iTunes and CD Baby, and at select boutiques. Thanks for popping by!
