The Thread was written and recorded in conjunction with our church’s journey through the book of Hebrews from January 4 – September 13, 2015. As outlined in this New Testament letter, these ten tracks explore the various ways in which Jesus is the ultimate thread that runs throughout Scripture, faith, salvation, and our lives. As a songwriter, I love lyrics. I love buying the physical copy of an album and pouring over the CD inserts. But, there was so much I wanted to print that we decided to just make it available online. My hope and prayer for this album is well summarized in these verses… “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts…” (Hebrews 3:15) “[May God] equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.
