In 2009, The House Jazz Concert Series was co-created by Dave Powers and Annette Franks to bring people together for good jazz music and good times in the style of the old-time 'rent parties' of the 1920's through the 1950's. There are somewhere between 40 to 85 people who come to Dave's house in Columbus, OH to listen, participate, network and fellowship.

Along with piano and vocals by Powers, Volume Two features Christian Berg (bass), Michael Cox (tenor sax), Dave Dewitt (bass), Don Hales (guitar), Jim Masters (trombone), Randy Mather (tenor sax), Jim Powell (trumpet and flugelhorn), Andy Smith (drums) and Louis Tsamous (drums).
