This song is about overcoming loss. Our main character loses his wife in a zombie apocalypse and has been struck with grief. The zombies finally begin to overrun his town that he lived in and he is forced to leave not just the house but his wife. As he ventures to a survival camp he has to overcome his grief and fight to survive. At last he reaches the camp and faces the zombies head on with their support. During the battle our main character is confronted by the zombie form of his wife. He slays her and sets her soul free thus finally overcoming the burden and moving on.
