Forastero (or Foreigner) is a song dedicated to all the travelers around the world, who end up in new places different from their place of origin, even when they are not welcomed. This song explores the emotion between the melancholy of leaving home and the happiness of finding a new one. It’s a homesickness shock, the finding of ones identity and moving forward with it. More than an immigrant song, Forastero is about the nostalgic feeling of letting go, interrupted by the epiphany of starting over. Emphasizing that its neither right or wrong to look for change, leave and come back until we all find inner stability.
