Born in Spartanburg, SC, Dontel began exhibiting his “creative side” at age 3. His first love as a child was drawing and his talent and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. He was asked to join the Spartanburg Arts Center as a student at age 5. While he was there, he was asked to help paint a mural for the new Spartanburg Library. He later was featured in several exhibits and his drawings won awards.    He began to embrace music at a very young age. He began having “concerts” at home – not knowing that his fantasy would become a reality. He has performed his music in notable places, to include Six Flags Over Georgia. He has a strong fan-base that includes international followers. His music is featured on iTunes, SoundCloud, Pandora, Google Play, and Spotify, He also has several videos on YouTube.    Dontel considers himself an all-around artist. Naturally gifted on the keyboard, he writes his own music, lyrics, and beats and works consistently in his studio to sharpen his craft.
