This is truly a "Christmas album" ... of holiday art and music. 11 songs are illustrated with 18 images by 8 of our favorite artists. The hardcover book is perfect for gift-giving and holiday grab-bags. The book measures 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches square, and is 48 pages from cover to cover. Featured artists: Charles Vickery--Cover art, "Adventure Bound," plus four additional images inside the book. Includes two of Vickery's very famous images of Chicago's Christmas tree ship. Drawing: "Christmas in the Foc'sle" 1927 Hugh O'Connor (Detroit, Michigan) Marcia Moses (Canton, Ohio) Peter Rindlisbacher (Amherstburg, Ontario) Michael Blaser (Davenport, Iowa) Howard Sivertson (Grand Marais, Minnesota) and two of the famous Christmas collectors' plates by the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Company. In a further cross-pollination of art and music, three of these tunes are poems, set to music by Lee Murdock.
