REO the Emcee effortlessly fuse the two spectra of the hip hip arena. As an indie artist, it's not always easy to get ones voice heard. REO the Emcee is originally from Detroit, MI and currently resides in Houston, Texas. He obtained a Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering. His ability to weave in and out of various topics is very unique. He's definitely not a one dimensional artist as his music will captivate both the hip hop "purest" as well as those who are more inclined to mainstream hip hop. In the past, he has collaborated with dangerousNEGRO to make positively inspired hip hop on the dN|Be mixtape "Smart Is the New Gangsta" as well as the dN|Be sponsored mixtape "RE-Education". In those rap composition's REO detail some of the hardships and advantages he has experienced pre graduation. For those who are more inclined to mainstream beats, in 2010, REO has as teamed with fellow label member SeanFrank to create "The Return of Arthur Agee and William Gates...Still Ballin". In final quarter of 2011, REO the Emcee is back with another installment and great addition to his musical catalog. REO's latest project titled "Baller's Ball, Playas Play" will cover a wide array of topics in which he discuss his profession as an Engineer with one of the World's largest Oil and Gas Services companies. He details that Balling is figurative and the statement "ball til you fall" is for an oxymoron. However, he let's you know there is nothing wrong with Balling, and pimping is a way of life which does not always have negative or derogatory connotations.
