Reviews Frankie Sorci plays for artist reception at Ars Longa Gallery Frankie Sorci played keyboards during the artist reception for Michael Kirschel's exhibition at the Ars Longa Gallery in Folsom. Frankie nailed the mood just right, finding the right tone, volume, and energy for the active crowd of collectors. As the gallery owner, I never had to talk over the music -- a boon for selling and discussing the artwork -- yet we were always embraced by it. It was comfortable and relaxing, almost like wading in a warm pool of music. I had expected him simply to play the keyboards, but during a couple of times when the energy dimmed, he sang a few numbers in his warm voice and reenergized the crowd. Several collectors expressed their gratitude for having the music and commented on how it complemented the work. Great jazz, good wine, and beautiful artwork... how can you go wrong? --Homer Christensen 627 Sutter Street., Folsom, CA Concerts on the Steps of the State Capitol(CA) and William Land Park in Sacramento Frankie Sorci & Friends is a fun and professional band. They were also easy to work with before and the day of the Heart Walks. Many Heart Walk participants commented how much they enjoyed Frankie Sorci & Friends’ music. Their performances made the day special by inspiring the Heart Walk participants. ____________ Rosanna Oliva-Pfister Heart Walk Coordinator September 2006 American Heart Association 2007 O Street Sacramento, CA 95814 --Comments from American Heart Association Shaolinwasp Review shaolinwasp posted on Sat December 17, 2005 ~SUNDAY MORNING ~ Have you made millions off of your great creation? You can check out some of our tracks on his site www.soundclick.com/bands/9/frankiesorci.htm The tracks that we worked on together are called “Variation on Dang Dang”, “Sunday at Dusk”, & “Medium Shag (Myrrh and Frankie Sorci)”… but check out all of his stuff. My favorite is “Goin' to Chicago” because he sings on that one. The guy has some serious roots and his style is amazing. It is truly an honor to be working with him. --Myrrh Midtown Stomp Subject: Frankie Sorci Review Ronald Thompson Midtown Stomp http://www.midtownstomp.com Frankie Sorci put together a great show for dancers at my swing dancing venue with a variety of music! The band’s sound was fun and energetic and the dancers enjoyed the live music very much. His ability to switch between synthesized instruments and the real piano we had on stage was fun to watch and dance to. The band arrived early, and was very professional. We’ll definitely be bringing them back in the future! --Ron Thompson Len Amsterdam Radio Show lenamsterdam posted on Wed December 29, 2004 "move over all you posers"-audio review at "this is Frankie Sorci now heard in very heavy rotation on the one and only len amsterdam digital network, the place to hear the independent artists of our time" we reccomend all the listeners of our show check out Frankie Sorci!
