I'd never planned to record The Anointing, His Presence. It’s inception came about because of a devastating diagnosis of Dystonia, a mysterious and tormenting neurological condition, without known cause nor cure) Upon the first recording, I also had no idea that it would take ten years to complete because the symptoms rendered me so weak and at times so incapacitated from tremendous pain that I could barely function Here is where the miracle comes in!. Father God Himself steps in to assist with His strength, creativity and His heavenly Angels . Somehow, I meet each day, facing this mountain and able to inspire and encourage others in my life going through difficult seasons also. With God’s abiding strength, I soared to new heights of trust and dependence on Him, (and able to look beyond the pain with hope!). If anything relevant or lovely inspire you through this collection of prayers and Psalms, This is His miracle through me. So each day begins with me grappled for my Heavenly Father’s extra strength especially during my recording sessions with John, I had to have strong faith and focus to capture a good vocal track and/or that I’d be able to keep time and finger- pick my guitar. At times the jaw and mouth spasms were so violent I had to lay on John's couch, until the very moment ny time came to track. All praise and glory goes to Father! The Anointing, His Presence, is about my journey with TMJ-Dystonia, my struggle to keep positive,, enduring daily physical; agony and most importantly, abiding in a posture of absolute stability-safety..in the shelter of His wings! This album is a companion to my book series, Arise From Your Grave, because rather than allowing myself (and my gifts and calling) to be buried in a prison of depression and hopelessness, Christ reminded me that He took the keys of death, sin and sickness. So, if I am truly His, I will proclaim to the world that He lives in me! Each of these songs were born from an episode of extreme physical agony. As you struggle through each moment of your own fiery trial, may you reflect on Father's faithfulness and ability to take you to a higher love and deeper intimacy in Him.
