Dennis Parker has transcribed many works for the cello. Here is Volume 1. The cello repertoire is rich, but limited, if compared with the violin and other instruments. Although Debussy, Poulenc and Enesco all wrote wonderful sonatas for the cello, there is always room for another from all three of these genius composers. Each of these works is enormously gratifying and challenging on the cello, possessing irresistible themes, colors, moods and textures.
