Drawing on his experiences with bands like Quintology, New Orleans Nightcrawlers, Have Soul Will Travel, Stanton Moore, and many others. This album features a mixture of great Latin Jazz, Contemporary Jazz and a little bit of funky stuff. With some of New Orleans finest musicians, "The Unexpected Gift" is a journey through New Orleans with Brent Rose as the tour guide.
