These pioneering college alternative early 80's rockers blazed a trail with their indy vinyl release "Beatboys" on then Dragonmist Records. A subsequent hellacious tour followed sharing the stage The Bangles, R.E.M., Guns & Roses, Circle Jerks, Redd Cross among others. A host of other calamities that saw stage brawls, blown electrical fuses, groupie lingerie hangin' from chandeliers, limousine breakdowns and winding up with a five car pile up on California's Highway 99, all brought to you by the band van and their wayward roadies. Encouraging the spectaculars was music industry friend Michael Goldstone (Charlie Sexton, Pearl Jam & Buck Cherry) who evean posed as guitarist for The Que video "Room To Talk" and Mark Bosch (Ian Hunter, The Triggers) layed down some lead guitar lines on a couple tracks while Studio Engineers Wally Heider, Eric Westfall, Mike Gabbay & Doug Henning recorded their attitude on tape. Assisting career moves was Film Producer /Manager Pearl Lucero and then president of "Women In Music Organization" where the band was most proud and eager to showcase at organization functions to a room full of girls. Song collaboraters David Lear & Bill Manley's tune "The City" garnered international play in England and "Shake It Up" made musical background for Disney's "Epcot Magazine-Women On Wheels" TV show episode.
