Dr. Mac (Don R. MacMannis, Ph.D.) is a noted child psychologist, teacher, author, lecturer, and school consultant. He has been the music director and songwriter of Jay Jay the Jet Plane, the hit PBS animated series for children. His songs have won the Teacher’s Choice Award, Dr. Toy Best Vacation Children’s Product Award, iParenting Media Award, National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval, Seal of Excellence Award, Creative Child Magazine, and First Prize, USA Songwriting Competition. Dr. Mac's friends include co-producer Brian Mann, singers Lois Mahalia, Eje Lynn-Jacobs and a fabulous group of young Santa Barbara superstars.
