As a young musician,I toured with MC Hammer,EnVogue and others. I play bass/guitar/keys & rap/sing. I've been on records released by majors like Capitol&Mercury. People call me OG because I been around a while. But,I guess you can say that I'm a old youngster because of my youthful approach to life and music. I continue to be inventive and creative with the rhythms and grooves. Being a musician/artist/producer & engineer,I consider myself like a 'one-man-band'. I was once referred to as 'Prince like'. I do like to collaborate with other artist & musicians,but,I think that many have gotten away from the true artistry of music by all the featuring that we hear now. I wanna produce my music as a real artist and not get caught up in whats trendy too much. One thing my listeners will find out and come to appreciate about my music,is that,no one song will sound too much alike. This is because,I'm more into being creative with playing a instrument and trying new things with my vocals.You may hear a song I'm doing like "STACK" and think,that's tight,wheres the guitars and electric bass lines? But,then,you will hear a song like "YourSexIsTheBomb" with the bass plucking and walking all throughout the track. Then,when you hear "IFeelLike"(TributeToStevieWonder),you get a acoustic guitar solo and piano improves that helps to give the track a sweet sound. A totally different style is indicated by "DirtyDanceForMe" ,a party rap song that has some bass walkin' licks but is mostly a hiphop club beat. When you play "OGSwagga" again,slapping bass lines all through the mix.So,as I continue to release my music to the listening public and gain fandom, I will also continue to keep their attention by delivering a fresh new sound song by song.I have been on stage or in studio with many big stars and feel like,I am coming into my own now. I know what I wanna do as a artist,and I know how to go about doing it. I decided to get with CD Baby because I remember when the music industry was first starting to transition to this now 'file sharing/downloading state', CD Baby was on the front line getting ready for war, lol. As I was introduced to CD Baby through Disc Makers as a independent label releasing albums one after the next,I am finally making the move to the digital download age.
