Pete Marriott has a long history playing with national and international artists over the last 35 years such as Sandra Wright and the Soul Kitchen (later known as The Sandra Wright Band), Richie Havens, Joe Cocker, Phil Driscoll and Freddie Fender. After years of travelling on the road and playing all over the country, the long awaited debut of his solo project has finally arrived. The 10 track CD features a run through the related genres of Soul, Blues and Americana in guitar driven grooves.

Recorded in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, "Outrunnin the Rain" features Danny Timms and Steve Elmore on keyboards, Mark Klaassen on Bass, Scott Musick on Drums and Percussion and Wanda Watson and Jennifer Marriott on backing vocals.
