The majority of this album was recorded in 2011, but was never released. The first six tracks are studio takes and the following six are outtakes and previously unreleased versions. Recordings were done at SlamOne Studios and mastered at Terrapin Thickets Studios. Music and Lyrics were written by Sons of Solomon as a collective group. The lineup for "Release" was: Ryan "Nya" Childs - vocals; Roy Childs - vocals / guitar / percussion; Slam Stewart - drums; Becky Stewart - keyboards / vocals; Mark Vollten - lead guitar; Adam Douberly - Bass Sons of Solomon (SOS) is a collaborative reggae band with influences that range from traditional reggae, dancehall, ska, and jam bands. The founders and inspiration of the group that formed in 2003 are brothers Ryan and Roy Childs who composed its original songs based on their biblical and spiritual studies. The family-friendly band performs high energy reggae covers in celebration of Jah and many originals that focus on messages of one love, peace, faith, and hope in a world at times filled with strife.
