简介

Wonderfox, an aptly named LA-based band that’s the best of spice and passion from south of the border, smoothly blended with electrified 100% American Rock & ROLL! is an edgy Latin-influenced rock band that features powerful guitars, explosive drums and irresistible melodies. The band includes members from several countries, such as Brazil, Chile, Colombia and the U.S. Wonderfox members have performed for/with internationally renowned artists such as Mana/Jaguares’ Vampiro -Cesar Lopez, Christopher Ukerman (ex-RBD), Beto Cuevas, La Pestilencia, among others.   The origins of the band came to life when Colombian born singer-songwriter and guitarist Isabel Valencia met Brazilian producer Tiago D'Errico (Anahi, Gloria Trevi, Christopher Uckerman, Cristian Chavez, Roy Thomas Baker) at a show they were both hired to play, Isabel on the bass and Tiago on the guitar. Soon they became good friends and found similarities in their musical tastes. While editing and mixing the five song CD, Isabel continued performing with different acts in the U.S and Latin America touring with artists like Christopher Uckerman, Anahi among others. One of these acts was Vampiro’s (Cesar Lopez: Mana/ Jaguares) band where she met Fernando Jaramillo, one of Chile’s best drummers, who performs today with Rock Pop icon, Beto Cuevas. One night before going on stage Isabel showed Fernando the songs she was working on with Tiago. Fernando was captivated by the music and asked to join the band.  Freddy Aguirre, bassist, became the Wonderfox's next band member, selected through an audition they held. The band's good fortune continued with the addition of Carlos Marin, guitar player from the legendary Colombian band, La Pestilencia, whom Isabel met at a party.   Wonderfox’s first show was held at a small pub in North Hollywood, with a small audience, no stage, no sound or backs stage. In a matter of months, the band moved to bigger and better stages such as The House of Blues, Conga Room, and a “residency” at the well known LA club, Los Globos, achieving substantial progress, success and acclaim. WX started to be called to hold interviews for magazines, podcasts, independent radio stations and television.   The latest CD, “Juegos Mentales” was recorded and produced by Tiago D’Errico, mastered by distinguished engineer Robert Vosgien, written and composed by Isabel Valencia.
