Known for a lyrical style, described as “brutally honest… using vivid imagery and card shark wordplay to turn on his listeners”, C-Chan has toured, performed and collaborated with everyone from EL-P & Aesop Rock to The Hooters’ Eric Basilian. If you have witnessed Charlie and his group, Slow Suicide Stimulus, on any of their recent North American Tours, you know Charlie is as intense onstage as he his humble offstage. His musical process is a 24hr a day passion that includes running FloSpot Record’s daily operations, managing, producing and recording with Slow Suicide Stimulus, as well as his solo works and non-stop recording at his home studio, STFU STUDIO in Jersey City, NJ. 
 As the creative force behind FloSpot Records C-Chan executively produced & engineered Yak Ballz’ SCIFENTOLOGY II (FSR 2008), SLOW SUICIDE STIMULUS (FSR 2007) and Tame One’s O.G. BOBBY JOHNSON (Eastern Conference 2006). He as toured the U.S. extensively with CAGE (def jux), EL-P, MR. LIF, Vast Aire and many others over the last 4 years, including performances at the PAID DUES FESTIVAL 2006, 2007, PLUG AWARDS in NYC, PitchFork Festival in Chicago, CMJ, SXSW in Austin, NXNW in Portland, Fuel TV’s Daily Habit TV show, Scribble Jam in Ohio and many more festival and spot dates across the U.S. & Canada. Charlie has opened up for JADAKISS, Fat Joe, Lloyd Banks, X-Cutioners, Kool Herc, Boot Camp, MIMS, as well as performed and recorded collaborations with Cold Crush Brother Grandmaster Caz, Weathermen Crew’s Cage, Camu Tao, Aesop Rock, El-P & Yak Ballz, the Arsonists, Cannibal Ox, Ill Bill and Tame One (Artifacts). C-Chan’s upbringing in Hip Hop, both on the mic and behind the boards, is a story of talent, ambition and paying dues enriched by the amazing opportunities, experiences & music he has been a part of, but most importantly, the loyalty of his growing fan base. -1990’s C-Chan is out of control, gaining notoriety for a poison laced tongue, cipha-splitting wit, and “on edge” lifestyle. Then towards the end of the decade, starts taking the basement sessions to various open mics & showcases in NYC and decides to start de-magnetizing himself from trouble as the crowd response starts to mirror what his boys had been telling him for years. -2002-2006 starts live instrument based NYC hip hop group called Dusted Dons. Quickly becomes underground famous for their original and amazing live shows in NYC and eventually, across the US. -2006 Charlie also starts throwing monthly hip hop shows at Downtime,NYC to allow NY’s dopest MC’s a spot to show their talent in opposition to the “Pay to Play” scheme-cases that were ripping off young artists at the time. - 2004 FloSpot Records, LLC is formed and releases DUSTED DONS on Itunes, CD Baby & various moms & pop’s stores around the country -2006 ex-producer of Tame One’s OG BOBBY JOHNSON released on Eastern Conference Records. In that same year, C-Chan participates in the MTV MC Battle and places 30th out of 10,000 as well as does various college radio freestyle shows. -2006 FloSpot Records gets national distribution through Defend Music (Caroline’s Dist) and Groove Attack for Canada. -2007 FloSpot Records releases SLOW SUICIDE STIMULUS debut lp, an original group featuring Tame One, formerly of Atlantic Records’ group The Artifacts. And C-Chan, Govone and DJ Melski. This critically acclaimed album, produced mostly by the late Camu Tao, DJ Mighty Mi and El-P, gets strong press coverage and indy radio play, quickly making SSS an indy/ college radio underground staple & enables them to tour the US non-stop for the next two years. -2007 joins Cardboard City, a family like collective of artists including Daryl Palumbo, F. Sean Martin, Cage, Aesop Rock, Alex Pardee, Nick Hook and even actor Shia Lebouef. -2008 C-Chan executive produces, records & engineers Yak Ballz SCIFENTOLOGY II, released on FloSpot Records. The Dirt Empire video, a single off the album, wins MTV’s Freshman Vote Award in Feb. 2009 -2008 C-Chan does various radio spots on Sirius Satellite Radio, as well as being included in DJ Eclipse’s Best Freestyles of 2008 Halftime Radio Show compilation -2009 C-Chan prepares his solo album, SHARKS AND DINOSAURS for release as he finishes recording the follow up to SLOW SUICIDE STIMULUS and a hip hop/ electro-punk project called LIMITED DEAD -2010 C-Chan goes on full solo US TOUR with MYKA-9 of Freestyle Fellowship, DJ Nemoz and Boom Bap Bullies -2010 records "PLUG-IN" with ILL BILL and Mentally Ill. - 2010 releases SHARKS AND DINOSAURS on FloSpot Records
