Paul Vance returns to his musical roots with the release of his first solo CD, The Comforts of Home. Recorded and mixed in Minneapolis, this CD is a collection of twelve original songs which evidence a wide range of style and mood: “Proud of Me” is a song of irretrievable loss; “Girl Next Door” casts an over-the-shoulder glance at a time of innocence; and “Another Love Song” celebrates the here and now.

Paul Vance grew up in suburban Minneapolis. He began his musical career playing guitar in garage bands, and later performed a solo coffeehouse act in college. Vance has worked as a professional cellist and teacher for the past thirty years. He lives in southeastern Minnesota with his wife and their two children.
