The Boxers consist of song-writing cousins Blake Powers and Fallon Franklin as well as drummer and producer, Joey Campbell. The Boxers feature some of Austin's finest musicians. The track, "Angry Bones" features multiple Grammy award-winner Larry Franklin on the chin-cello and fiddle.

Their debut album, self-titled, is a nod to what they love about music in general. Their eclectic taste's in music have translated this this album that is rich in many different genres. Although the songwriting covers a vast space of musical tastes, the songs share a common thread of amazing melody with lyrics that speak to the "every man". The Boxers believe that music can be listenable but still translate an educated view on life and everyday existence. This is what makes The Boxers unique and a band to watch out for.
