简介
As a young actor/musician from Detroit, David Patrick Kelly first arrived in NYC in 1973 and soon got involved in the vibrant downtown rock and cabaret scene. Kelly performed his own compositions at such legendary venues as CBGB’S, Max’s Kansas City, Reno Sweeney’s, and The Lower Manhattan Ocean Club. His subsequent film, television and theater career– crafting memorable roles for many great directors including Walter Hill, David Lynch, Wim Wenders, Spike Lee and Clint Eastwood, among others - has been undeniably infused with his musical sensibility. Onstage he has been known to play the mandolin, ukulele or cuatro while performing some of the greatest roles in the World classical canon. Here are nine tracks: five recorded Live in ’75 at Reno Sweeney’s and CBGB’s, plus three new songs, and one traditional Irish folk song.
