“Kiwi exile in Istanbul Ware’s third album in twelve years takes his furious, frustrated reflections and infuses them with atmosphere, echo and splashes of welcome barminess” – Sean Parker (Lady Obscure) 2016 saw the release of Dylan Ware’s “The Infinity Chamber”; a 15 track album in the folk-rock style. Infinity is the culmination of a two-year project undertaken in collaboration with arranger/producer Fatih Aygün (formerly of Turkish rock group MAT). The songs are lyrical poetry set to Ware’s sumptuous, acoustic guitar-driven melodies, entwined with Aygün’s exquisite orchestral accompaniments and inventive, hypnotic percussion. The Infinity Chamber features the song “Nothing” – a quirky, catchy arrangement which has received some airplay in Europe, as well as appearing on 2014’s “IstanbulDogs Compilation” (Seraglio Point Productions) - in addition to a tighter, meaner reworking of Ware’s sturdy signature “No Honey”. Ware, a long-term resident of Istanbul, was born and raised in New Zealand. After years of itinerant travelling, he settled in the chaotic Middle Eastern city where he continues to write and perform music. Influenced by years of the troubadour lifestyle and meditative roaming, as well as the music and ideas of people like Nick Drake, Nick Cave, Roger Waters, Paul Simon, Lennon/McCartney, Syd Barrett, Leonard Cohen, and psychedelic rock, Ware’s work consists of eloquent, astute, lyrical pieces, artfully intermingled with infectiously catchy melodies and the refined harmonies of Aygün’s baroque/metal sensibility. The Infinity Chamber is Ware’s third album after ”Dark Wind Songs”(2004) and “Wolfsongbird”(2012).
